Engine Blade is a Small Sword in NieR: Automata. This weapon is a crossover from Final Fantasy XV. When this weapon reaches Level 4, the damage numbers effects will change while also adding a blue fade to the dodge animation, similar to Noctis from Final Fantasy XV. Small Swords are fast-swinging and one of the easiest Weapons to use among the different classes of weapons. It has decent attack speed perfect for chaining combos and used to deal with multiple enemies at once.

Where to Find Engine Blade in NieR Automata

• As part of a main story quest, you will descend using an elevator to a lower part of the Abandoned Factory. You'll eventually have to escape. Along the way, you will have to travel across a conveyor belt with crushers to get to the next tower. Once you get to the outside of said tower and start climbing again, watch for a platform that extends toward the camera. This will allow you to jump across the tops of the crushers. If you're having trouble, double jump, hold X to grab the pod, and simultaneously press Square to do a spinning kick that lets you hover for a moment. Make it to the other end and you'll find a door leading to a wide room with two large treasure chests (one locked) and a small chest. The unlocked chest on the left contains the Engine Blade
