Type-4O Lance is a Spear in NieR: Automata. Type-4O Lance is also a spear with decent damage output. It has the Stun Up ability which makes it easier for you to stagger opponents, and with the Energy Charge, it will increase your weapon's attack if you have not used it for a few seconds. This will come in handy if you want your first attack to deal high damage right from the start. Spears are Weapons with long reach with a unique moveset. They perform powerful attacks, though they are relatively slower than Small Swords, their sweeping attacks do provide excellent maneuverability of crowds, although their attack patterns are usually catered for fighting a single enemy rather than facing a crowd.

AnonymousProbably the single best weapon for Nines. Energy charge passive + his light charged javelin throw = dead robots in straight line and thousands of damage with right chip setup.
