Virtuous Contract is a Small Sword in NieR: Automata. This weapon is 2B's signature blade and you acquire this at the start of the game. This weapon is also a part of a set along with Virtuous Treaty, Virtuous Dignity, and Virtuous Grief. Small Swords are fast-swinging and one of the easiest Weapons to use among the different classes of weapons. It has decent attack speed perfect for chaining combos and used to deal with multiple enemies at once.

What do all these cruel and virtuous weapons really mean? The cruel and virtuous spears both reference father and brother Nier, respectively, so aside from 2B, who else is being referenced by the entries in these weapons?
it said i needed 5 copper 3 stretched coil and pyrite for upgrading this weapon why is it telling me i needed this to upgrade to level 4 when it isn't even the materials needed for the upgrade
