Ko-Shi & Ro-Shi is a Boss in NieR: Automata. Ko-Shi & Roshi are fought together as a merged Boss encounter. They are made up of the separate Bosses, Ko-Shi and Ro-Shi. Bosses are special larger Enemies that can be encountered throughout the game in different Locations. A Boss encounter will usually signify game progress or a chapter ending when following the main storyline. Some of these bosses may first be encountered As NPCs to introduce some Lore and backstory before they are inevitably faced in a Combat encounter as a Boss. Boss encountered are identified by their introductory title that will be displayed just before combat begins. Their HP bar and Level will also be displayed above the character throughout the combat encounter. Some bosses in the game may be optional and avoided. All information on optional or required bosses stats, Locations, encounters and strategies can be found on their designated Bosses

Ko-Shi & Ro-Shi Strategy (Melee) NieR Automata
Ko-Shi & Ro-Shi is encountered after the separate encounters against both Ko-Shi and Ro-Shi. This time with a few new movesets from their individual encounters. This time there will be more attacks that can generate shockwaves, so you will need to keep a distance to give yourself enough time and space to jump over them as they approach. Watch for when the unit jumps. The landing will generate a large shockwave. Same thing will occur when it starts to stomp its legs. Each limp will take a turn, generating their own damaging wave. The only way to avoid them is to jump over each ring as it approaches. This new merged boss will also have new claw-like limbs that can swipe at you. The best approach is still to continue to circle around while keeping your distance. Once you are out of its line of sight you can advance towards it with your melee attacks. Once its initiates the lasers, be ready to jump. This laser can last longer and the unit may take a few turns. These turns also become faster compared to previous variants. This means when it releases orbs, they are also harder to avoid. As soon as you see it assume their attack positions, always get ready to double jump through them. Alternate distancing yourself and coming in for an attack until they are destroyed. This will begin the next cutscene.
