Mods are community-created modifications to Nier: Automata that alter it in several ways, from adding content or options to fixing bugs, glitches and visuals.
Scripts are user-defined functions that run when a specific event occurs, such as a key press or window open.

DS4 Button Prompts
Despite NieR:Automata currently being a PS4 console exclusive, the PC version has Xbox controller button prompts.
erewego set out to fix that, creating his own DS4 button prompts.
To install, simply download , extract the files, and copy the "data" folder to "steamapps\common\NieRAutomata\".

All of these scripts require a program called AutoHotkey (AHK), which can be found .
Note: some of these scripts may contain hotkeys and events that conflict with each other, use at your own risk!
AHK Script Loader
What it does:
Loads any of your AHK scripts automatically, as well as closes them automatically after you close the game.
No need to open and close them all every time you want to play NieR!
Installation:
- Go into you NieR game directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\NieRAutomata)
- Create a folder called "scripts", put any scripts that you have in here
- Re-name "NieRAutomata.exe" to "NieRAutomataGame.exe"
- Create a new AHK script and name it "NieRAutomata.ahk"
- Paste into the new script and save
- Right click the script you just created and click "Compile Script"
- Optional: delete the old "NieRAutomata.ahk" file, you only need the .exe
- Simply run the game through Steam and everything should be all set!

Custom Cursor Script
What it does:
When the NieR:Automata window is active it will change the windows cursor to whatever cursor you set.
When NieR:Automata is no longer the active window, it will change the windows cursor back to the default.
Installation:
- Create a new AHK script in your scripts folder
- Paste into the new script and save
- Place your cursor file into the scripts folder, and name it "niercursor.cur"*
- You should be all set! Just run your game through Steam like you normally do!

Shift Dodge and Fire Toggle
What it does:
Turns the Fire key into a toggle, so you no longer have to hold it down to fire your Pod/Flight Suit.
Enables you to dodge by pressing [L Shift] (default), instead of double-tapping a directional key.
Installation:
- Create a new AHK script in your scripts folder
- Paste into the new script
- Change
vto your Fire 1 key,LShiftto your desired dodge key, and save - You should be all set! Just run your game through Steam like you normally do!

Gatling Gun Exploit
What it does:
Turns the Fire key into a toggle and repeatedly presses and releases it while toggled.
You need at least the first upgrade for Pod A in order for this to work!
Installation:
- Create a new AHK script in your scripts folder
- Paste into the new script
- Change
vto your Fire 2 key,cto your desired activation key, and save - You should be all set! Just run your game through Steam like you normally do!

Can't there be a mod where all the female android are barefoot?

How do you remove this mod if it's installed? I think it's destroyed all the textures in my game after this new update because I've deleted the FAR mod and Special K and still having super broken textures.
