Robo Dojo--Black Belt is a Side Quest in NieR: Automata obtained in City Ruins from Father Servo which gives extra (EXP), items, and occasionally even weaponry for completing any of the side tasks. Most of the side tasks available to you can be completed during playthroughs with all characters. You won't be able to go back to earlier regions in various parts of the story, which may prevent you from completing some of these side missions until later.

Robo Dojo--Black Belt Walkthrough

"Father Servo has enhanced himself using parts you game him. Go verify the results for yourself.

You emerged victorious from Father Servo's training, but he demanded parts as payment for his services. Go find the requested materials.

In an effort to push himself to the top, Father Servo made an entirely one-sided promise about a rematch."

Spar With Father Servo

Until a question mark icon appears in the same spot, you must keep playing. Father Servo has grown in size and has a level of 40 experience. Although you can begin the battle on the initial playtime, it is preferable to wait until Route A's conclusion (being at about 30 experience level). Otherwise, it can take a while to reduce the enemy's health. The assault where Father Servo rotates quickly while going across the roof is his hardest. It is advisable to wait until he has finished this attack and entirely ignore him.

Aquire Silver Ore, Pristine Screw and Broken Batteries

Father Servo will ask for Silver Ore, Pristine Screw, and Broken Batteries when you defeat him. Similar to before, you might already possess them or you might need to travel to the locations shown on the map in order to battle machines that will drop the ingredients.

Give the Aquired Materials to Father Servo

After acquiring the needed materials from the enemies, head back to Father Servo and give him the materials. This will mark the end of the side quest. Upon completing this side quest you will be rewarded with, Large RecoveryBroken Battery x3, Ranged Atack Up (L)Ranged Attack Up +2 Chip, 5000 G, and 1280 EXP

Tip: in this form Father Servo only uses Physical Attacks. So, if you use "A060: P Shield" pod program, you're completely invulnerable from all his attacks, and can give him quite a punch without worring about avoiding his fast attacks. Every use of the pod program gives you around 4 seconds of invulnerability. Then get away from him, and wait to use the same program again. If you have more than 1 pod, you can make it very quick: use the pod program shield on pod 1, attack father servo, then retreat, switch to pod 2, and use the shield progam on that pod, then attack. While you're using pod 2, pod 1 continues his recharge. So, when this time you retreat from father Servo, when you switch again to pod 1, it will be already almost all recharged.
So, switching pods helps you greatly to reduce the time when you're awaiting to rise up the shield again and bash father Servo.
