Type-3 Blade is a Large Sword in NieR: Automata. Type-3 Blade is a stylish large sword, it is also the large version of the Type-3 Sword. Just like its predecessor, it increases your defense as well as adding an explosion at the end of a completed combo. Large Swords have the highest damage output out of all the Weapon types, but their attack speed is also the slowest.

Deterrence Theory, only works when everyone is equal and of sound logic.

Last upgrade adds a 'Blast Finisher'. Means, if you complete a normal-attack chain (so the 4th hit), the last hit will add a crushing blow with equals a critical hit with AoE capacity. Not "that" useful on greatswords but nice to watch anyways.
