A090: Wire is a Pod Program in NieR: Automata. The A090: Wire is a utility program that can be used for mobility or for combat. Pod Programs are active abilities that are slotted to your A.I. Companion, the Pod, they function similarly to NieR Replicant's Sealed Verses, allowing the player to instruct the Pod/s to execute a special attack. But unlike a Sealed Verse in NieR Replicant, a cooldown occurs after using a skill instead of a magic meter.
Fires a wire in the direction that the Pod is facing. If it hits a foe, it launches the combatant right to the target for an up-close assault.
A090: Wire Pod Program Effect
- Charged Attack: Increases the range of the wire per available Pod (up to three Pods).

AnonymousCharging the wire increases its max length at least that's the way it seems to work for me. I love this item, allows for some very Sekiro like grappling action!
Charging Wire wtih multiple pods does increase the range, if the target is far enough.
